This electric skillet has a very flimsy feel to it. I thought maybe the handles needed to be tightened, but they are molded into the skillet. I was apprehensive about using it, but gave it a try. It does not provide a consistent heat. It gets hot, then cools down a little, then heats up again. The lid does not sit snuggly on the skillet. It does cook food and is an electric skillet. Looks just like the picture.
